TRADE ME OUTAGE NEWS
Trade me have scheduled maintenance on Tuesday 22nd September from 10:00pm to 2:00am Wednesday 23rd September. This outage is necessary to conduct essential disaster recovery (DR) testing and ensure the resilience of our systems in the event of an unforeseen incident.
During this time, Dealerbase Web and the Dealerbase Rest API will be unavailable. The DR process will move our supporting infrastructure on Google Cloud Services from Sydney to Melbourne. After ensuring the successful move and stability, we will then need to have a second outage to move the services back from Melbourne to Sydney. We are planning this to commence at 10pm on Wednesday 23rd September for the same outage period.
We understand that this outage may cause temporary inconvenience, and we apologise for any disruption it may cause to your operations. We have carefully planned this outage to minimise disruption and will work diligently to complete the testing as quickly as possible.
Here's what you can expect:
• Tuesday 22nd September 10:00pm: Dealerbase Rest API and Dealerbase will become unavailable.
• Wednesday 23rd September 2:00am: Dealerbase Rest API and Dealerbase will be restored and fully operational.
• Wednesday 23rd September 10:00pm: Dealerbase Rest API and Dealerbase will become unavailable.
• Thursday 24th September 2:00am: Dealerbase API and Dealerbase will be restored and fully operational.
